We are looking for a
Customer Service Administrator
to work in our offices in Salthouse, on the North Norfolk Coast.
WildSounds are seeking a sales administrator, preferably someone who is immediately available. You will be responsible for processing, picking and packing customer orders to be dispatched within an allocated time schedule, accepting and processing deliveries from our suppliers, maintaining stock & stock areas to ensure accurate stock control and to assist where and when needed within the team to ensure the efficiency of the company. This work involves some heavy lifting.
You will also be expected to assist in preparing, setting up and staffing a stall at several annual outside events where you will be dealing directly with members of the public. This work also involves heavy lifting. Candidates should realise that important times in our calendar often conflict with school holiday times and that we would specifically be unable to consider a candidate who would not be available to assist at the annual British Birdwatching Fair near Rutland Water, in August. This entails being able to work the 4 week period prior to the August Bank Holiday.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, hard-working and able to work under pressure in a busy environment. You will also need to be able to work under your own initiative as well as within a team. Some experience working within a customer service environment would be preferable, but training will be provided. You will be working with the company's IT systems, so IT literacy is important (file management, spreadsheets, word-processing documents, printing, e-mailing, etc), with the ability to pick up new systems. This position should suit anyone who is a birdwatcher or wildlife enthusiast. Reasonable English, a general knowledge of world geography and a valid driving license are essential, as is a good telephone manner.
Hours: 9:00 - 17:45 (30 min. lunch) Monday - Friday (plus occasional weekend work)
Job Type: Permanent full time. (We may also consider part-time staff who can work a minimum of 3 days a week on a pro rata basis).
Salary: £13 500 - £16 500 p.a.
Closing date: noon Monday 17 September 2012. (Interviews of suitable applicants conclude on 20th September, so please be prepared to come to our offices at short notice.)
