Commission for Conservation

£6017.51 has been raised through our Commission for Conservation programme so far. The main beneficiaries of these funds have been:

Hawk & Owl Trust£3303.54
ABC£2041.85
Birdlife International£240.91
Oriental Bird Club£199.21
Norfolk Wildlife Trust£92.60
Leicestershire & Rutland Ornithological Society£86.06
Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust£18.75
TUSK Trust£17.80
Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers£14.44
Wiltshire Ornithological Society£2.35

The Commission for Conservation programme is a referal scheme, whereby like-minded organisations have links on their websites to WildSounds and encourage their supporters, customers and readers to use the links to buy from WildSounds. A commission is earned through each sale and this is then donated to the charity nominated by the organisation.

It goes without saying that this would not be successful without the continuing support of the organisations involved. If you would like to join the programme, please contact the webmaster at isales@wildsounds.com.

Listed below are the organisations which have raised money through the programme, along with the amounts they have raised so far. (This is slightly less than the total amount we have donated to date, as we often round up the cheques being issued to the charities, and because sales through our monthly e-mail newsletters are also included in the programme).

African Bird Club£1931.26
Avian Adventures£11.54
Bird & Wildlife Watching Club£0.64
Bird Quest£23.18
Bird Watching Magazine£2951.38
Birds Illustrated£9.33
Hawk & Owl Trust£16.09
In-Focus£49.45
Leicestershire & Rutland Ornithological Society£86.07
Leicestershire & Rutland Wildlife Trust£1.42
Limosa Holidays£217.93
Norfolk Wildlife Trust£67.29
Nottinghamshire Birdwatchers£14.43
Simon King£2.20
Sunbird£12.49
Wild About India£4.55
WildWings£36.23
Wiltshire Ornithological Society£2.35

Thank you to these organisations and a very special thank you to the hundreds of customers who, like us, believe that we should conserve our natural heritage for the future.
