Calls of Eastern Vagrants

Calls of Eastern Vagrants

Hannu Jännes

Calls of 68 species vagrant in or rare to Britain and Europe, such as Blyth's and Pechora Pipits, Yellow-browed, Booted and Sykes's Warblers. The 20 page booklet follows the standard nomenclature and describes where each recording was made, type of vocalisation and the name of the recorder. This is a "must-have" product for any serious birder. Indexed but not announced.

Due to limitations within our standardised species lists only 66 of the species are listed and the remaining 2 species are potential splits. In addition to the species in the table there are also recordings of the 'sub-species':

  • Chiffchaff [P. collybita 'eastern abientinus']
