A classic device from HP. While this model does not feature the GPS (SatNav) found in the HP iPAQ 600 series - Business Navigator and HP iPAQ 600 series - Business Navigator, it does have both Bluetooth and WiFi capabilities for networking and accessing the Internet and the latest operating system from Microsoft (Windows Mobile 6 Classic), and it's cheaper! It is the best basic model we offer.
Please note you are not required to connect the PDA up to a PC in order to use the eGuide software (except for the RSPB Birds of Britain & Ireland CD-ROM, which does require a PC).

7Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication method generally used between a device and an accessory - e.g. A PDA and a keyboard or a PDA and a GPS receiver.
8WiFi is a longer range wireless communication method for networking computing devices together to share files or "surf the web".
9GPS-Global Positioning System. This technology receives signals from satelites stationed in orbit above the earth and calculates the position of the device through triangulation. In itself it does not provide mapping or navigation functionality, but is used by mapping or navigation software (e.g. TomTom Navigator version 6) to provide current location information.
