Parabolic dish is clear plastic, 575 mm diameter and 1 mm thick with a rubber foam handle with a through-going cable. The dish can be rolled up for ease of transport. "Plug-in-Power", means that the microphone runs on the recording device's own batteries. Fits directly into all 3.5 mm microphone inputs, so is suitable for most recorders like DAT, minidisc & Solid State or MP3 recorder/ players like iPODs. It has an extremely low sensitivity to wind and handling noise, making it an ideal choice for all field recordists.
