Guide to the Ladybird Larvae of the British Isles
Peter Brown et al
This ladybird larvae identification chart covers the larvae (and many of the pupae) of 26 species found in the British Isles.
Ladybird larvae are often found, but not well known, as they look so different from adult ladybirds. There's a further ladybird identification guide on the reverse side, with a guide to the colour pattern, habitat and distribution of each ladybird species. Descriptions of the anatomy, life-cycle and feeding relationships of ladybirds are also included.
The ladybirds larvae dentification chart is produced in partnership with the UK Ladybird Survey.
