Sounds of the Desert

Jean C Roché

Raw sounds from the Moroccan desert where the sand permits no echoes. The sense of place is tangible as we move from the bustle of a donkey market to gardens and palm groves where Laughing Doves sing, and then into the harsh desert. Along the way, heat-tolerant birds bravely sing, including unique species such as the plaintive Hoopoe Lark. Where rains have reached the desert, dense flocks of flamingos and sandgrouse miraculously congregate. 60 min.
